Blended lives in The Old Bank on the corner of London Road, Southborough. By day it’s a proper local cafe with speciality coffee, fresh pastries, and tables to work or chat at. In the evenings, it becomes the sort of little wine bar you need at the end of your street.
We specialise in coffee, wine and art, all blended under one roof. Everything on the walls is for sale, everything in the glass is specially selected and chosen by us and everything that is on the plate is sustainable and locally sourced. So that’s the setting, the food and the drinks sorted. All that’s missing is you.

Blended is split over two floors. Upstairs you’ll find the main bar, handbuilt by Tim and his friends, and the lounge, a bright, quiet space with a couple of tables and a sofa to, well, lounge in.
Downstairs is the vault. As the name suggests, it’s an old bank vault, complete with the original safe and vault door, so your secrets are safe with us. Next to it sits the Leopard Lounge, inspired by Tim’s travels around Africa.
Every room has its own atmosphere, so no two days or nights are ever quite the same.

Our coffee is roasted by Wooden Hill based in Ampthill, Bedford. It is made from Fairtrade, sustainable beans from South America, and pulled through our Conti. Flat whites, cortados, a proper dirty chai or iced lattes for when it’s hot. All dialled in fresh to get you going, every single morning.
Swiss Water decaf and a Brazilian dark roast always on hand, oat milk or soya if you’d rather. However you take it, we’ll make it well.

Our list runs from local English fizz to organic Spanish reds and skin-contact Sicilian oranges. Every bottle has been chosen by us, with nothing on there we wouldn’t happily drink ourselves. We only serve the good stuff.
There’s always a Glass of the Day open and a fridge worth browsing. Not sure where to start? Just ask, that’s the fun bit.

Flaky croissants or a cinnamon bun first thing, cake for elevensies, toasties and ciabattas through lunch, then small taste explosions and mixed platters once the corks start popping.
Made fresh and sourced close to home to go with whatever is in your glass.
Our walls rotate work from local artists we love, paintings, photography, the occasional wild thing from the savannah. A share of every sale goes to wildlife conservation. Ask us about any of the artwork on display; the piece you’re sitting under might just come home with you.

“We wanted somewhere that felt like the best bits of a cafe, a gallery and a friend’s kitchen, all at once.”— Cora & Tim
